Medical Scheduler

Large Hospital Downtown seeks Front Desk Medical Scheduler to oversee patient sign in process collect information needed for the appointment. Directs patients on correct place to go for appointment. Ensures that patients are seen in a timely manner by keeping check in process steady. On check out person will demonstrate accuracy and analytical skill in the interpretation and coordination of physician orders to schedule diagnostic tests procedures treatments and physician appointments. Clearly and accurately convey appointment information to the patients. Identify and initiate appropriate processes for all patients requiring authorization or pre-certification from third party payers to ensure proper reimbursement. Coordinate with the Business Center the prepayment and financial counseling process for patients when appropriate.

Credit Balance Rep

Large medical facility is looking for a credit balance representative. Ideal candidate will have two years of patient accounting experience perform 10-key function by touch and be able to read and understand EOB's. The candidate will perform all duties necessary to resolve patient accounts which have balances in a credit status by researching refunding correcting adjustments or movement of payments. Candidate will determine if the payments received are correct then determines who is to receive a refund. Daily and weekly credit balance reports are the main tools utilized not only to identify credit balance accounts to be worked but to monitor productivity and progress towards goals and to identify trends and contract discrepancies. $12.25/hrá
